Earlier today, I leafed through a Nancy Drew mystery entitled "The Swami's Ring", and in it, the villainess attempts to gag Nancy with- get this- a ROLL. Nancy eats the first roll, but the second one is bigger, so it'll take her a little more time to eat this gag...

"matching"?

Indeed, after a third or fourth look at it, I’d say:
Jungle Raiders Of The Lost GAG.

Almost could have done that myself, actually, but it wasn’t me.

Lamest: Kirsten Dunst in Small Soldiers.....the thing wrapped halfway around her head and wasn't even remotely believable. Honorable mention goes to Kathy Ireland in Gridlock....I can't believe such a great potential was blown by an incredibly lame-looking tapegag. (I hate when they use ridiculously short pieces of tape.)

Most unique: Terry Farrell in Hellraiser 3. That scene was a real treat.....although it could have used more closeups.

After a little research, I can tell you that the first still is of Ewa Aulin from a 1967 movie with many various titles.

A pic of the movie poster (with Aulin gagged):

There looked to be a pattern on the gag that followed the rest of her ensemble ... maybe so, maybe no.

The DB returns bupkes ... can anyone verify that the still reflects reality?

Scene ID's?
Anyone know where these scenes are from?

1. Lady on ground, duct tape gag, wrists bound in front. Flashlight held by a couple kids while dad(?) carries her into a barn.

2. Tied spreadeagle to a bed, disfigured face creature offers to feed her some rice-crispies cereal. She refuses so he eats it himself while she begs to be released.

3. Clear tape gag, wrists bound behind. Later we see a frontal view while the bad guys talk on the phone to someone else in a city street payphone. At the very end of the scene the tape gag is removed so she can talk into the phone.

New Comic scenes...
Two new gag scenes and a burning at the stake...

1) The new issue of the Black Widow mini series, #5, has the widow bound to a chair on the cover, (the picture of which was posted here a few weeks ago)...she's tied to the chair for most of the book, and stays that way at the end...she's also handgagged for a couple of panels...A+ scene, probably the best scene in comics in years...the verbal interplay between the widow and her female captor is classic...

2) Issue #3 of escape of the living dead has a decent OTM gag scene, 3 good panels...

3) The latest issue of the UK weekly magazine 2000AD has a elf like villianess tied to the stake in the final part of the latest Slaine story(ala Joan of Arc) and given her sentence...the strip is photo realistic so is it an actress/model posing for the pictures

But just seeing Kathy in a tape-gag was awesome.

The amusing part about the short gag was when the bad guy ripped the tape off in the final scene. Instead of peeling it off, he just pulled it off, since it wasn't even touching her lips. Nice fake grimace from Kathy.

Are you sure about that? The lady resembles LR, and the shadowy leather-gloved assailant is similar, but IIRC (and I've been through it frame by frame umpteen times), the entire scene was shot from the other side, i.e. camera to Ms R's left, and she had just driven her convertible (T-bird?)into her garage at night. That flimsy garment is not exactly nocturnal open-top driving apparel.

If it is Lee Remick, I'd guess it's a publicity still, disingenuously dressing her in a nightie to "sex the story up" as we say these days.

West Coast Alert!! Kelli Martin Gagged!!
Live Once, Die Twice aired on Lifetime at 4pm Central.

Just caught the last 10 minutes and Kelli Martin and another babe were bound and gagged with duct tape sitting on the deck of a boat while some guy taunts them. He ungags them then walks off and they struggle with their bonds. He comes back and duct tapes a plastic bag over the other babes head and prepares to throw her overboard when help arrives. Don't know how long this scene went on.

Repeats Monday at 2pm Central on Lifetime.

Thank you for the pointer, I appreciate it.
Here's a link that has a similar category system. But it deals with bondage etc. in dime novels;

http://www-sul.stanford.edu:9001/dp/owa/pnlight.lightbox?p_search=%57%6F%6D%65%6E%20%2D%20%42%65%69%6E%67%20%41%62%64%75%63%74%65%64%2F%4B%69%64%6E%61%70%70%65%64&p_cat=Subject

Please try it more than once if the link fails to work the first time you click on it. It's weird but it doesn't open up sometimes. The link's from the Stanford Uni. Library.

Comic Book Bondage
I just wanted to list a couple of bondage scenes in
some comic books;

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen:
Page 58; There's a bondage scene in the background.
The first panel from the second row has an Asian
woman bound by someone who looks like Snidely
Whiplash. The woman is nude.

Wonder Woman Archives Volume 1: This one has a lot
of bondage. Wonder Woman is constantly bound,
gagged, chained, stuffed in trunks etc. This almost feels
like a mainstream Eric Stanton or Gene Bilbrew comic.

Wrath of the Spectre:
Pages 66 & 68; Gwen is bound to a chair and gagged.
She's wearing only panties and bra.

Page70, the cover has a blonde woman gagged and
bound to a chair. She's wearing a dress and high heels.

Pages 101 & 102; Gwen is abducted by two thugs.
She's bound and gagged. She's wearing a suit.

Page 123; the cover has Gwen bound arms and legs.
Page 127; has her bound the same way.

Crime SuspenStories Vol 3
The cover of issue 15 has a blonde woman wearing a
coctail dress and high heels, bound & gagged.

The Invisibles- Say You Want A Revolution
This volume has a couple of bdsm acts and s&m. Also,
Marquis de Sade makes a cameo.

Wonder Woman #204
Last page; Veronica is bound & gagged in a closet

Wonder Woman #205
Veronica is bound & gagged in a closet.

She is the first damsel from this movie:

Record number: 8915

Title: La Banda del Antrax
Medium: Movie
Actress: Marisol Santacruz

Description: The Band of the Antrax kidnaps women and there are four women shown in different types of bondage. The main actress is the only whose name is known. Right after the opening credits a young woman is seen tied to a chair (hands behind)with a tape gag wrapped tightly around her head. At about 20 minutes Jimena (Marisol Santacruz) is taken by force into a car. Her mother is handcuffed (hands behind) to a street light post gagged with a gray cloth and taped with clear tape. Jimena is tied with a bandana (hands in front) which is wrapped with clear tape. She is gagged with a cleaved gag and clear tape on top. By minute 30 she is seen in the gang's place, her hands are unbinded but she is left with her gag in place for several minutes, with nice closeups of her teary face in distress. For no particular reason another vicitm of the gang is rescued by the one hour mark. She is bound with rope and also gagged with cloth and clear tape. She is carried by a policeman on his shoulder fully tied out of her place of confinement

Lastly Jimena is tied with ropes, after a failed attempt to flee her captors. We see only her knees tied up and her lovely feet hit repeateadly with a twig as punishment. By the time she is rescued she has been left untied by shaken.

This a Direct to Video movie from Mexico (there is a movie with a similar name in IMDB but it is not the one I am describing).

That sounds like it. I don't remember the title, as I said. Possibly both the Foxfire and the DOOL sereis had very similar scenes. It's hard to believe that writing that bad could happen twice by accident, though.

More info on this Sunday surprise - At around 25-32 minute mark - Kellie gets bound hands behind back sitting on a chair (no gag), at around 50-60 minutes, while Kellie is taking a shower in the next room, another woman gets grabbed from behind and a nice hand gag. Around 1:40 (right before last commercial) - Kellie walks on boat and sees other babe on a bed, bound and gagged with duct tape. Right after commercial - comes the double scene.

One of those nice surprise scenes where you have to slam the brakes on Tivo high speed FFing! Seems that Lifetime is showing a lot more unseen movies this year.

I googled Lee Remick, and found the image on the sleeve of Henry Mancini's soundtrack album of the movie. A publicity still, perhaps staged after principal shooting, would thus appear to be the source.

Lamest gag, most unique gag
My vote for most unique gag includes:
Beverly D'Angelo stuff-gagged with a wig in "Finders Keepers"
The zipper gag and metal plate gag in Beetlejuice
The metal cage brank in The Avengers
My fave is the intricately designed and logo'd wooden gag in the otherwise awful "Tor The Mighty Hunter"

Stuff gags are the norm in Chinese films, from some of the images we've found.

Fruit gags aren't all that unusual, especially apples. A search of the database yielded nine different scenes involving gags, which inclueds a lot of "name" actresses: Christina Ricci, Joanne Lumley, Jennifer Saunders (her scene also included being gagged with a banana) Gigi Edgely and Alyssa Milano.

Cameron Diaz has a lime used as packing under an OTM gag in "Head Above Water."

Thoughts on Thoroughly Modern Millie
One of the Yahoo groups listed earlier (thanks for the links!) had quite a few caps from the movie "Thoroughly Modern Millie." It was quite an eye opener. All those women in cages, bound and gagged, for wht, if I recall correctly, were a couple of scenes in a white slaver's pens that lasted for scant seconds in the movie.

I guess the thing about it is ... in so many movies, we have scenes where the heroine(s) could be bound and gagged, and SHOULD be bound and gagged, but aren't. Of if it is done, it's in a manner that's laughably stupid.

In most movies, caging the captives is enough. Even in the softcore porno sexploitation flick "Where Evil Lives" where the characters are nude and have sex, all the white slavers do when they catch their victims is lock them in a cell. Clothed.

So how is it, in a 1960s madcap comedy, "Thoroughly Modern Millie," for a minor scene, we have ALL these women bound and gagged in cages? They must have spent quite awhile tied up and gagged like that, waiting for the scene to be shot. I bet they didn't have to act much to play long-suffering captives.

I don't have any questions here, or any answers. I just think it's kinda weird. And on the evidence, I think Van's adage that "It's not about the bondage, it's about the story" may be a bit off. I'm not sure it's about anything. Just random coincidence.

Re: West Coast Alert!! Kelli Martin Gagged!!
It was Kellie's first gag and my was it a turn-on.

Just before break, she walks back into boat (I'll let you watch for suspensivful storyline) and she sees her gagged with duct tape.

Then a few scenes after reak, they are sitting side by side B a G with Duct tape.

We get 1-2 good closeups of kellie and 4 with other women.

It was so great to see kellie get the full treatment as she is so cute and looks so much like Sarah Michelle Gellar.

I think she looks like SMG, too. I've been taping all those Mystery Woman movies in the hopes of a scene and didn't even know this movie was airing.
