Actually you'd want to look for shows produced by Universal Television. Universal has been producing shows for ALL of the networks since the 1950's.

Some that come to mind are "Dragnet" (all versions), "Adam-12", "Rockford Files", "Emergency", "240-Robert", "McCloud", "McMillan & Wife", "American Gothic", "Bionic Woman", "Six Million Dollar Man", "McCoy", "Cool Million", "Columbo", "Walker, Texas Ranger", "Police Story", "Police Woman", "Magnum P.I.", "Knight Rider", "A-Team", "Miami Vice", "Sons of Thunder", "Richie Brockelman, Private Eye", "Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries", "Night Gallery", "Hec Ramsey", "Madigan", "Banacek", "Faraday & Company", "The Snoop Sisters", "Amy Prentiss", "Quincy M.E.", "Tenafly" and many, many more.

I would assume that they'll also use shows that NBC produced, can't think of any of those at the moment though.

Yeah, using it (actually vdub mpeg2, since that is how the recordings are formatted). The codecs error out when faced with the input stream of that size.

Apple bobbing
Which ep of CHARMED has Alyssa Milano magically gagged with an apple? The DB has bupkes. I just came across a collage of the scene at the Helpless Actresses Yahoo! group that was mentioned earlier. It's in the "To Be Filed" folder, fifth row down.

Thanks advanced.

I thought the scene in the movie was terrible. I am more interested in the restraints than the gag. There was no view of any restraints. She was just sitting there with a piece of tape over her mouth, about as exciting as watching paint dry. Then she has one hand cuffed to a putz on the floor. Very disappointing in my book.

Alas, Smallville continues to disappoint. If there was any scene that warranted a tiedup for Ms. Lane it was this one.

Show Me
I notice that Show Me is on limited release in the US today- does anyone know if there is a gag scene involved yet? Or is this another scene that will go down as urban legend?

Butterfly on a Wheel
Read this in Variety:

"Pierce Brosnan is taking on the gritty role of a kidnapper who pulls a family apart in the indie thriller "Butterfly on a Wheel". Mike Barker will direct the Icon Entertainment pic which centers on a happy couple with a seemingly perfect life whose daughter is abducted. Over the course of a day, the kidnapper dismantles the family's lives with brutal efficiency. A February start is skedded, with locations in Canada and Chicago..."

There's no indication of the daughter's age, but hopefully she's, say, friends with Kim Bauer and will find, after the film, that they have a lot in common.

Supernatural vs. Night Stalker
To start out, I loved McGavin in the original Night Stalker.

The new Night Stalker isn't going to survive. The time slot of Thursday against the CSI's are suicide. The show moves to slow and you have to think too much. Gabrielle Union is great to look at but, are we going to see her bound any time soon ? The show needs a more mature character. Maybe it can be resurrected on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Supernatural has two young actors from two highly successful TV shows. The show moves fast and thinking isn't a option. The actresses are hot and put in life and death situations.

2 Questions about Supernatural:
1) What is the make and model of their car ?
2) Are the boys privately rich ? Is that how they can go save the world ?

The title of this movie that I saw at Block Busters is called 'The Girl in the Basement. I couldn't get a description of it because it was just the cover, but on the cover in a picture of a woman tied to a chair hands behind back and chest wrapping, any clues as to this movie

Actually, this scene is paying off. Girl is first shown knocked out on bed, taped gagged with white almost clear tape. Older guy frees her fairly quickly, but near the end of the show, she is retaped hands in front, and regagged with the tape. Scene continues at least until Monday as promos for "Lunes" episode show 2 nice close ups of her gagged face.

A gentle word to the wise... Check the dBase *before* telling the forum about something "new".

-------
Record number: 10454

Title: The Wild Card (2004)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Hillary Tuck, Barbara Alyn Woods

Description: Nice little straight-to-video find, albeit with an unfortunate ending for one of its damsels.

43 minutes into this caper flick, mother Woods and daughter Tuck -- last seen bound back-to-back in an episode of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids -- are dragged into a van by kidnappers. Woods is then nicely chloroformed onscreen, while Tuck is merely shown semi-conscious. Shortly after this, both women are shown still unconscious (initially), blindfolded, tape-gagged, hands tied in front, and tied back-to-back in chairs with ropes around their torsos. This scenario is revisited several times, with darker lighting that we might like but some reasonably good shots (including close-ups). At the hour mark, Woods' character is unblindfolded and ungagged by one of her captors, but she doesn't get to experience much relief because he immediately stabs her to death. Feh.

Meanwhile, Tuck remains bound and understandably terrified -- but, in a boon for us, by the 66-minute mark, she's been retied with her hands behind and moved to much better lighting conditions. Nice close-ups as the antihero removes her blindfold (much to the consternation of his boss) but leaves the gag in place. Just a few minutes later, we see her lying on a bed, still gagged, blindfolded once again, and now with her ankles visibly bound as well. The hero once again removes her blindfold, eventually followed by her gag as he releases her. It's all over by the 73-minute mark.

DVD viewers should be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes featurette, which includes an additional take of Tuck's scene on the bed, and the commentary track, in which the director sheds a few (crocodile?) tears for the amount of time that Tuck and Woods were required to spend bound.

...& speaking of HILLARY TUCK
Here's a news blurb from HollywoodReporter.com:
-------

'Hunters' brings Lynch to Lifetime

Kelly Lynch has been cast as the lead in the Lifetime pilot "The Hunters." Lynch will play Joan Hunter, a former CIA operative who is now the matriarch of a family of spies who take on spillover cases from the CIA. The pilot for "Hunters" began shooting Sunday in Vancouver. The Touchstone Television project is executive produced by Efrem Seeger.
-------

Hillary will play "Cat Hunter", Kelly's daughter. Let's hope Lifetime starts airing "The Hunters" very soon & that Hillary gets many chances to pad the solo & mother/daughter DiD-scene sections of her resume. :-)

Arrgghh! Let me try this one more time. If you get the national feed (like on DIRECTV) for Univision it's 11a.m. PST and repeats on Univision West at 2p.m. PST.

If you get Univision locally, check your local listings, in L.A. it comes on at 2p.m. PST.
