Repost with image as link. The image is large and rather
gory and unpleasant. Be advised.

I actually went to a special screening of Hostel on Thursday night. I meant to post here when I got back. That said, the image in the link is basically the extent of any women getting the treatment in the film. There is one other girl, but she is blurry and in the background. Two guys get the treatment as well (in far more detail). Definitely not worth seeing for the bondage. Very twisted and shocking film, and despite lost opportunities, it is one hell of a ride.

HOSTEL
I saw this at the Toronto Film Festival. Eli Roth knows how to make a good horror, doesn't he? Great guy in person to, but the bottom line is - As mentioned before, forget about the bondage. The only gag involves a guy - and it is definitely not pretty.

Also, this isn't the next Saw! It's based on some twisted true-to-life crap in Thailand. Saying anymore will spoil it .. But anyway. Go see it if you like horror, it will blow you away.

lynda carter holy grail
Would anyone have a copy or information of where to find a copy of Lynda Carter in the film 'The Last Song', otherwise known as 'Lady in Danger'. Id be really grateful for any help, the scene in the kitchen where shes struggling on the floor is a classic I only glimpsed briefly once about 20 years ago.

Thanks

Re: Killer Instinct, 24
According to tv.com, the last night's episode of "killer Instinct" was the last new episode to air. On December 16th they are rerunning the pilot episode, and I believe that will be it. Damn.

This one has been released on DVD. I saw it a few years ago in a bookstore (Crown books, I believe) and foolishly passed it up. :) A quick check of Amazon.com reveals that you can get it through some "third-party" sellers. If you'd rather not get it there, you could check on eBay or check Crown books, or post a request to the trading forum.

Paula Peril
There's a new comic heroine coming who looks like she could be popular here.

Now let's hope for a movie spin off.

This looks to be quite nicely drawn. I found only 1 page of art with bondage in it, but its pretty cool, with the lovely heroine shackled beneath some nasty whirling saw blades. No gag unfortunately. Check it out at:

The comic is due to launch in February 2006 and you can order it directly from the site.

Bionic Watermelon should be in the very first episode

Bionic Watermelon was a recurring bit. I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember Toni's scene was in the Bob Hope episode.

Guess you got to wade through lots of crap to get a 3 second DinD scene

Exploration of the Atlantis Studios site reveals *another* DiD comic (or rather an action comic with a female protagonist): "Kelly Belle". There's an on-line comic & a print comic as well.

There's a classic DiD image from the online comic at this URL---
http://www.atlantisstudios.net/images/kelly_belle/kb-hs-inside.jpg
---& it *has* a gag! :-)

This is quite a find (although I admit "70's-style" comic art isn't my favorite).

I openly admit that back in the day, I carried a HUGE torch for Toni Tennille. I bought the 8-tracks, watched the show every week... {Sigh} But I gotta agree, that's a *lot* of early-80's TV variety show "stuff" to purchase for one silly skit.

Still... Those big blue eyes! That silky, *RED* Dorothy Hamill hair! Those lips!! {Sigh}

And they whirled and they twirled and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Floatin' like the heavens above
Looks like... MUSKRAT LOVE!! :-)

Rejects???
Is there not a Database entry for The Devil's Rejects?? I'm on the Hollywood Video waiting list for it & thought I'd see what the masses had to report, but couldn't find an entry. I'd write one but I haven't seen it yet...but I'll bet SOMEONE out there has! :-)

Re: Paula Peril
Boy, this is just what the doctor ordered. Paula Peril could usher in a new era in DiD comics...better than Brenda Starr! And if Paula can have some girlfriend sidekicks that get waylaid along with her...WOW!! This could make us forget Nancy Drew. Maybe a TV series can happen too!

Brown, not red.

She WAS cute, though.

Van, thanks for the url for that picture of Kelly Belle bound and gagged! I think it's a classic! I love "70's style" comic art. What IS your favorite comic art?

First of all, see it. It's easily the best horror-type film of this year and in fact, many previous. Way better than 1000 corpses.

Second, there are three noteworthy scenes. One involves a brunette tied hands overhead and gagged with a knotted cleave, VERY brutal, though. VERY bloody. God, I love it. >)

Two additional scenes for Sherri Moon Zombie, the blonde. A handgag scene near the end, and a rather cheap chair tie with ropes under arms, and wrists tied to arm-rests. I don't like this movie for the bondage at ALL .. I like it for everything else.

Anyway, I have the DVD too. Nothing special on the making of documentary, despite it's 144 minute length. NO gag scene is shown, amazingly. The two Sherri Moon ones are, but again, these are basic, basic scenes.

Okay, *AUBURN*, but that's as brown as I go. :-)

Then take one for the team Kerry.
As most Canucks could probably recite the Love Will Keep Us Together song considering how many times they aired it over and over and over here
