Tourist Trap entry was improved after reviewing the tape.
However, the caps and clip made of it was heavily edited to get the guys out of it.
Probably what throwing off your recollection

I've heard for years that the Ginger films were the absolute best of mainstream bondage, and I've seen clips of them online, but what's kept me from actually watching the movies is that all of the scenes seem to be in the nude or almost nude. This puts them way down on the list for me, as I prefer nicely clothed damsels. If I were to pick one movie to keep, it might be Bound, but I'm sure I could think of other great ones.

You're not alone there. I like 'em better that way to.

There's one where she grabbed in a hotel room, lowered out a window B&G'd and put into a car trunk whilst in her night dress.

You may want to look at that clip

"Close to Home" Friday
Female guest gets a black-glove hand-gag in Friday's "Close to Home." Likely early since it's a rape storyline.

Interesting.
Awhile back I rented this comedy "If You Don't Stop, You'll Go Blind" that alittle racey.
One skit has a wife that was caught fooling around tied wrists over head, and nude in front of her house. A guy came along and after discussing her situation, decided this point it didn't matter so may as well have bondage sex, or something.

With it having to be off the main shelf in the United States to count as mainstream for Database,
had to ask if in similar comedy section down there.
Been a good while it been on the review list, with no one down there getting back to me about it. Wondered why?
Possibly part of reason why?

Is Rebecca Romijn that super hot super model?
----
A: Yes, whom you may remember from several appearances in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue + hosting MTV's "House of Style".

According to the IMDB entry, "Pepper Dennis" is slated as a mid-season replacement TV series about an ambitious Chicago news reporter -- with Brooke Burns also among the cast.

In the recent scene in Skeleton Key, Kate Hudson was choked into unconsciousness, and the next scene shows her tied & cleave gagged in the passenger seat of a car, and slowly awakens to find herself tied up.

Is the clip on Major John's from a mainstream film.
I was confused - seems unlikely a commercial bondage production.
If so - this doesn't seem to be in the database.

8MM 2 - quick note
Just watched this one. Don't be duped into thinking it has anything in common with the grittiness of Nicholas Cage's 8MM.
Looks hot in the new releases section, but nothing of value in the film for the topic of this forum.

Off topic you can do worse as far as erotic intrigue goes. Didn't regret watching it.

bridget fonda b-day
hey fello diders, I was reading in the paper today that it was none other than bridget fonda's birthday. A warm tape gagged happy birthday to her, especially for in my opinion, which i'm sure some may disagree, that her scene in single white female is one of the best tape gag scene, which to top it off had a great lesbian scene as well. Also did anything happen in smallville last night? I caught the first half but missed the second. Also who died in it?

I remember seeing that film at the Cinema here in the UK as a second/support feature. I can't remember what the main film was as it seems about 25 years ago.

If I remember correctly, the wife told the guy the full story and said that she had been ravaged by a gang after being tied up by the husband. The guy seemed sympathetic until she finished, expecting to be untied, and then he started to undo his jeans and say the punch line, which I think was "Lady...this just ain't your day" and it cut away to the next joke scene.

Does that sound right, Jay?

I know it is going a bit off topic but the scene I always recall is where an old guy goes in to a bar, orders a beer and starts staring at this huge hairy guy, with bushy sideburns and huge beard. This eventually irritates the hairy guy who asks the old guy what his game is.

The old Guy apologises but says he has just come out of jail having been convicted of raping a buffalo. He then says "I thought you were my son" !

I'll second that. Still one of the most unique tape-gags I've ever seen colorwise, but it was so well sealed. Love to see Bridget in a new B&G scene.

Re: DVD Bondage
Thanks for all the responses guys, much appreciated. Particularly to those who went for Bound, as its my favourite mainstream scene and the one I would always go for- does the DVD offer anything of note? I seem to recall, as the previous pster mentions, a version of the DVD that was heavy on commentary about being bound & gagged by Gina Gershon. Firstly is this true, and if so, does nayone know which version is which?

BTW, as I said, thanks for all the replies- Wild Card will be landing tomorrow, Bound will be coming if I can get the right version- and just a quick aside- is Malevolence worthwhile?

Re: bridget fonda b-day

Interesting previous post about Bridget Fonda and the effectiveness of tape gags re: the 'Suspiria' DVD:

Was watching Dario Argento's "Suspiria" the other night on DVD and on the "making of" feature...and the director of photography mentioned that he worked on "single white female" and when Bridget Fonda spent her time in the chair...they left her there for a long time between takes. Left her there tied and gagged. At one point the director mentioned the lighting reminded him of SUSPIRIA. At this point, Bridget starting squirming like she wanted to say something, but they didn't want to take the tape off her mouth. He gave her a pen and paper and she wrote "Suspiria? Why Suspiria?" and the guy responded "I was the DOP on Suspiria" Bridget asked that the tape be removed and when it was she blurted out that it was one of her favorite movies and one of the reasons she got into the cinema.

Rebecca Romijn--GN/BN
Bad News first:
"Pepper Dennis" is listed as a "Drama" & the articles I can find suggest it's another night-time soap, rather than a DiD-prone (or DiD-*possible*) adventure/crime/mystery series. Also, it's a mid-season replacement for the WB, & since WB+UPN=CW... who knows if or when it'll find a broadcast slot.

& now the Good News:
The trailer of "X-Men 3" includes a flash of Mystique (Rebecca) restrained in manacles. She's standing atop a table in what may be an interrogation room, & she's jumping through the connecting chain to get her hands in front. She looks mighty fine, as the Mystique costume is little more than a thin layer of blue paint. :-)

Yes. You would have seen it at the cinema a good while back Gaz, as IMDB has it from 1975. (Homepage)

Your recollection about the gang likely more acurate, and will be marked if the entry passes.

Btw: I have "Uschi Digard" in the notes.

I recall an old episode of the defunct series "Kung Fu" in which Barbara Hersey is knocked unconscious by the villain and is awake and bound and gagged in the next scene. She is gagged with a blue cloth tied between her teeth.

Campus Bondage in Toledo
Hello All,

I found an interesting article on line today about a woman who is trying to form a bondage club on the University of Toledo campus and to have it recognized as an offical university group. The group both socially and politically advocates for BDSM practitioners. (What politics has to do with it I have no idea) Anyway, there's a picture of the woman demonstrating a simple behind the back hand tie on another woman. Neither one are Harmony Models by any stretch, but if your a U of T student or in the area, this may be something to keep an eye on. The articls (in case the link doesn't work) is in the Independent Collegian, which is the student publication of the University of Toledo. Issue date 1/26/06, News Section and written by Alia Orra.

Elastoplast scene
If I'm not mistaken as far as the American origin of the series is involved, there is the use of Elastoplast in order to gag Michele Scarabelli and another actress with in an episode of the "Okavengo" series. I dislike tapegags, but these ones were put on very nicely and were clearly good sticking (judged from the moment when they are ripped off.)

Reason: Off-topic. "Style wars" are pointless and divisive. People like what they, and there's no point arguing. In point of fact, virtually all gags used in mainstream scenes are ineffective.

Lost?
I saw the preview for the next new episode of Lost, and it looks like Sun the extremely attractive Asian woman might have a scene. Anyone know of any details on this? You saw her being dragger away with a bag over her head in the preview.

I did see that, but I do know that next weeks episode of Lost is a repeat. At least it is here in Wisconsin. I'm assuming that the footage we saw is a sign of things to come. It would be nice if Sun did indeed have a scene.
