| Thought I might as well throw in my two cents on the best of 2005. I agree with most of the posters who said there weren't any great scenes this year on episodic tv, my favorite was the two sisters on CSI (I'm still trying to figure out how the whole scene fitted in though). As for movies and dvds I'd have to say MALEVOLENCE AND INTO THE BLUE were the top scenes. MALEVOLENCE was longer and had two damsels in distress but the darkness throughout much of the scenes kind of ruined it for me. Besides Samantha Dark doesn't hold a candle to Jessica Alba, so I give her scenes as the best in the movie division. 2005 though really belonged to the soaps and telenovelas. ONE LIFE TO LIVE wins soap honors hands down with two good to great scenes, depending on your point of view. Blair's scene was probably the longest on soaps since Laura Herrings turn on SUNSET BEACH. On the telenovela front we had Paola Rey getting not once but three times in her novela which has to be some kind of record for an anctress in a soap. LA MADRASTA also scored big with two full treatment scenes. Unfortunately I missed most of the scenes in TE VOY ENSENAR involving Ana Lucia Dominguez but they sounded pretty good. All in all 2005 wasn't a bad year and lets hope 2006 is even better. |

Some unexpected scenes came through on Despierta America and WWE (Joy Giovanni)which were both very nice. Turning on the morning tv and seeing a hot weather girl tied up, who would have thought. Thanks for all the great discussion, alerts, caps & clips this year. It's nice to have this community where we can all share in our hobby. Hoping for some great DID action in 2006. |

Brianspage provided the marketplace and the content you provided became the barter that helped create a network of scene traders. Back in those early days, many of us had collections that were limited to what we'd recorded after we got our first VCRs. There was just no way to get our hands on many scenes (especially ones from TV) from before that time. Scenes from European TV shows were pretty much unheard of back then. We didn't have much to offer in trades because mostly everything we had, everyone else had. Happy New Years wishes to you as well and best of luck in whatever you decide to do. |

Don't you mean issues 5 and 6? I have both issues; she spends a great deal of time as the bound and gagged of a gang of criminals who are holding her for ransom. Her telepathic powers begin to manifest themselves, and she employs them to defeat the gang, despite the fact that she is bound and gagged all the while. Is there another storyline in issues 11 and 12 in which she spends a lot of time bound and gagged? |

On the Friday Dec 39 episode of "Passions" on NBC, the character Jessica is shown in black bra and panties, tied spread-eagle to a bed by red scraves. It's shown to guests at a party over a closed-circuit. Her abductor is supposed to flip a coin, to see if he makes love to her or kills her, but is foiled. |

---- In the last couple of days, I don't think anyone has posted on the Aldo Youth AIDS campaign -- which to me at least, MORE than made up for any paucity in DiD movie scenes. We had FOUR Wish-listers (Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd, and Christina Aguilera) modelling tape-gags for the first time, plus Cindy Crawford modelling a tape-blindfold for a top photographer. There were multiple camera angles offered, including a "Behind the scenes" setup. And if someone had predicted in 2004 that these shots would not only be posted on a website, but also printed in full-page ads in national magazines, and printed on posters... |

Is there a free site with German TV alerts? I have almost all the channels from German TV and I could record this stuff, but I have no time to browse through TV magazines and search for known scenes from the DB. |

Having ordered the guards off to fetch "hot irons" or some such so that she can torture him , she releases Robin and in a breathless tone, instructs him to, I think, "tie me up and bind me Robin".As I said above, an interesting phrase..? And that parting kiss.... I am not 100% certain, but I think that the phrase has since been used as the title for a BBC2 programme on "sex on TV" or something fronted by the British comic Jo Brand....? You can imagine how THAT title jumped out of the "Radio Times" at me !! And I definitely recall it being cited as a "weird, kinky, perverse" scene in some Channel Four "history of sex on British TV" discussion. It got a laugh from the panel. I really must get hold of the DVD and see if it is as good as I recall....? |

Most DVD players come with PowerDVD, which allows you to grab images. The bad news is it has a problem with aspect ratios. Widescreen movies end up crunched up, so you'll need to use a photo-editing program to correct it. |

It's certainly one of very few examples of consensual bondage on TV. I don't remember hearing the word "bondage" in its modern sense of tying up with fetishistic connotations before the late 1960s, and if the general public was aware of it, they and the press did a good job of keeping it from us kids. So, if I'd seen the episode back then, I'd certainly have enjoyed it, but never suspected that the writer and actors felt the same way. Today, there's no mistaking the erotic charge and sheer gleefulness of the scene, and Ms O'Farrell was adorable. This was reportedly her first TV role. What a baptism of fire! The parallel with The Avengers is striking; both were low-budget shows, dependent on script and action to distract viewers from the basic nature of the studio scenery, and both projected a world view closer to fantasy than reality. They were generally so well done, however, that suspension of disbelief was quite easy. Marian, Marion or Marianne (as her *French* troubadour creators called her) having no historical existence, a writer can make of her whatever he or she chooses. Her 1950s incarnation has been described as "a good ATS officer" to "Squadron Leader Robin Hood." Like the Avengers ladies, she was at least the intellectual equal of her male companions, and could certainly look after herself, even becoming a good shot with a bow, though she wasn't yet ready for unarmed combat with villains. Not your old-fashioned soppy girly stereotype at all, and we appreciated that even at our then tender age. Perhaps some girls were cool after all. I was mistaken as to the episode number, btw; if listings are correct, it's actually ep 5 of season 1, and probably on Vol 1 of the DVD series. |

| The year 2005 has been good in some ways, although severely sucking in others. There have been a few notable scenes, although 2005 also marks the death of Fuzz and the end of one of the best sites of all time - Insex.
The soap scenes for 2005, in my opinion, has sucked compared to scenes from the past. Trish getting gagged on RAW was truly something for the year, probably the best to happen. Maybe 2006 will be a great year, who knows. Hope everything has a great New Year and I hope things get better from here. |
